Escaping from danger or fire has never been this easy.
The Three Layered Escape Chute System provides a rapid means of emergency evacuation from fixed height offshore installations. The RSS IECS system was designed to provide a rapid means of escape when Helicopters and Life Boats are unavailable.
The IECS system is a fully integrated system offering evacuation without the need to enter the water and when used with our netted chute system offers evacuation from variable height platforms and vessels including FPSO’s.
Risk Safety System in partnership with Exxon Mobil have developed a dual chute system. Eight of these systems are currently in operation on Exxon Mobil's Kizomba A & B in Angola West Africa.
Risk Safety Systems are also able to offer Escape Chute applications for High Rise Buildings, Commercial Buildings and all types, Residential Homes, Mining Equipment and Fire and Emergency Services.
It ‘s unique design provides a safe, reliable and quick method of vertical or inclined escape and is always accessible and ready for use.
The construction of the chute helps to protect the evacuees from heat, fire and is used for rescuing the old and the handicapped, it enables unconscious patients and those on stretchers to be brought to safety with very little training. This is sometimes difficult or impossible using traditional rescue equipment.
Vertical Three Layered Chute -
The escape chute consists of three layers. The outer layer is a material that will not ignite, even when exposed to open flame. The intermediate layer helps to regulate the speed at which the escapee pass through the chute.
The inner, supporting layer is designed to reduce friction. Just sit on the edge, with your legs in the chute, and feel it grip you, slide forward and lower your self to waist level, spread your legs, and slowly lower yourself fully into the chute. By applying and releasing pressure against the interior wall of the chute, with your arms and legs, The descent speed is controlled

The chute user will place pressure on the chute's interior wall with their leg's and arms, the more pressure they apply, the more they slow , less pressure and they speed up.
Layer 3: The Inner Layer -
